With five years of Museum Background and over 24 years of experience in the field, we have built many private collections and contributed to various articles and books on the subject of Folk and Tribal Art.

Our main objective is to provide the serious collector with the best material available.

In El Curendero(Gallery) you will find rare, select examples of the art and objects of Guatemala. From different epochs, there are masks, representing the history and beliefs of the indigenous people, used in their ceremonial dances; wooden figures, carved by the Spaniards or the indigenous, in a variety of forms and styles from the primitive to pieces of great classical refinement; slingshots, used as hunting tools and created by the peoples of Guatemala, represent a unique, artistic art form expressed with boundless creativity; handmade(crafted) furniture, distinct and diverse, created by Guatemalans in the colonial style of the Spaniards; paintings, used in home altars and churches as devotional icons; silver, which Guatemala’s people learned to manufacture for personal and ceremonial use; and ceramics and textiles done by the indigenous people from different communities of this colorful country.
